Nordica Order Edit by Variegata Nordica · Updated 1 November 2026
Who we are
Nordica Order Edit is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). It lets a store’s customers cancel or change their order before it ships, and provides the EU withdrawal button. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@nordica-apps.com.
What the app stores
- Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
- Your settings (how long orders can change, what customers can do).
- Changes: order number, what changed (items, quantities, amounts), the customer’s first name and email (to send them updates), and what happened to the change.
- Withdrawals: the name, order number, email, items and message the customer typed, with the date and time, as proof of the withdrawal.
- Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and technical error reports.
Orders are read from Shopify when needed and not copied. A new delivery address is written to the order in Shopify and not kept by the app. No phone numbers, browsing data or payment details are stored; payments happen on Shopify’s own pages.
Who processes the data
Cloudflare hosts the app and its database and sends the emails (Cloudflare Email Service), under Cloudflare’s data processing terms. Shopify provides the store data, does the refunds and payments, and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
How long it is kept
A customer’s name and email on a change are deleted 90 days after it. Withdrawals keep them 3 years, as proof that the customer withdrew. When a customer asks to be erased, their name and email are deleted at once. When you uninstall, your sign-in data is deleted at once; 48 hours later everything is deleted.
Your rights
Email hello@nordica-apps.com to see, correct or delete the data held about your store. Customers of a store should contact that store first.
The app is a tool, not legal advice. Each store decides what its customers can change.
